Now on to the goodies!

#1:  I’m loving the Eco-Friendly Bath Mat I found over at Fine Craft Guild!

This looks pretty simple, and many of us have old towels lying around the house.  I think this is a great addition to the shower area!  So cute, eco-friendly, and functional!

#2:  I can’t even stand how cute these Pomander Flower Balls are!  Courtney from Pizzazzeri created them:

In fact, I thought they were so cute, I’ve already made a few of my own!  You might have seen one on top of the Painted Shelf I just revealed yesterday.  I’ll post my own tutorial later this week!

#3:  I love the home-made and St. Patrick’s Day ready Hurricanes that Chelsea from Two Twenty One created:

The inexpensive supplies are definitely up my ally.  Love what a creative mind can come up with!

#4:  Next up, I’m head over heals for the Tile Trivet Sunny at Life in Rehab came up with:

Very similar to the Tile Table Top I created a few months ago, so I know I can handle it.  What an adorable addition to the dinner table…love the tiles she chose too!

#5:  Last up today is the cute Scrap Note Organization Karen came up with over at Sew Many Ways:

Certainly helps to de-clutter her desk, and I think we can all use a little of that!  She has a great tutorial on how to use the right tools to get the job done!

Well, that’s it for today!  Thanks again for all the lovely inspiration that exists out there!  Be sure to hop over and check out my mini-freebie thank you giveaway!

Until next time, stay crafty!

Now on to the goodies!

#1:  First up today are the adorable t-shirt pom poms made by Linda at Craftaholics Anonymous.

Linda found an adorably fantastic way to recycle her old t-shirts, and I’m in love with  the bold colors she chose!  I tend to donate my old t-shirts to goodwill, or turn them into dusting rags, but I think I just found a new project I need to try…Great idea Linda!

#2:  This is still a work in progress, but I love the colorful artwork Leslie is working on over at Onesie Twosie.

She transformed her wall space into a whimsical and colorful geometric pattern.  Talk about money saving with a “wow” factor.  My kind of project!  Thanks for sharing Leslie!

#3:  Not only do I love her stripes, but Heidi, from Budget Wise Home, created this cool magnetic art wall.

Not only is the idea of a magnetic wall cool, but she makes it look so clean and crisp it really is a show stopper.  Great way to showcase the kids work, very inventive Heidi!

#4:  By now you all probably know my love for a good home made wreath (see here, here, and here for some examples).  So when I saw Kat’s wreath over at Minor Imperfections, I squealed for joy!

I know it has a Christmas-y vibe, but I have plans to change up the colors and maybe make it a spring flower theme.  In the past I’ve re-purposed wine bottles (check out this tutorial) so now I just need to remember to hang onto the corks, and not just the bottle!  Thanks Kat!

#5:  And number five for this week are the cute bubble magnets Cindy made over at Keep it Simple.

With the magnetic board I made over in my post about my organized work space it never hurts to have extra magnets!  I think I’ll give this one a try…when I find the time!  Great tutorial Cindy!

Be sure to check all these projects out, and see what caught my eye this week.  Stop in next Sunday to check out 5 more things I like!

Happy Sunday Everyone!

Stuff I like Sunday #1

Since most of my inspiration comes from searching the web and checking out all your lovely projects, I decided to create a day for some of my favorite finds.  Welcome to the first Stuff I like Sunday!  Each Sunday I will feature 5 things that I have bookmarked for future projects I can’t wait to try.

Each time I borrow an idea for a project I always link back to where I found the project, but I decided a little extra shout out never hurts!  If your project is one of the 5 I feature, feel free to grab my featured button, or Stuff I like Sunday found on the right side, or found here:

#1: First up is the lovely Valentine Art work Maggie from Black and White created:

Isn’t it absolutely adorable?  I love that something so simple was created in Word!  I don’t have photoshop on my computer, so I love ideas like this that don’t involve any fancy and expensive programs.  Thanks for the great Valentine Idea Maggie!

#2:  I’m loving the felt Dahlia Katie made over at Food Wine & Mod Podge.  The name of her blog alone confirms that she’s a woman after my own heart!  Check out how cute!

I’ve been doing a lot with felt lately, as you can tell, and can’t wait to give this flower a try.  It looks a bit time consuming, so it might have to wait for a while, but I think that it is just absolutely stunning.  Great work Katie!

#3:  The super cute and incredibly functional boot tray Ashli made over at Maillardville Manor:

Talk about simple, functional, cheap, and cute.  With winter (eventually) ending, and spring rain on its way, I think this would be a great project to get ready.  Sure beats all the puddles on the kitchen floor!  Love the idea Ashli!

#4:  I instantly fell in love with Alisha’s Valentines Topiary Tree over at Homemaking Honeys.  How cute!

Click the photo to see her tutorial

I’ve already been working on some Valentine themed Topiaries, but with a different colored ribbon I think this would be great for other holidays, or even as a Christmas tree ornament with a little ribbon loop attached to the top.  Can’t wait to give it a try, thanks for the inspiration Alisha!

#5:  The final project that really caught my eye this week was Sabrina’s adorable party invitations:

Once again, what a simple way to create a project without the expensive and extra programs, I already have powerpoint on my computer, score!  Can’t wait to throw a party and put my own spin on this invitation idea.  I’m sure the shower was a hit, thanks for the fabulous tutorial Sabrina!!

You all have instilled so much inspiration in me, can’t wait to find the time to give some of these a spin!  Stop in next Sunday so see 5 more things I like!

Happy Sunday Everyone!
